Ratan Tata was born to Naval Tata on 28th December 1937 in Bombay under Bombay Presidency of British India (currently in Maharashtra). Naval Tata was a director in many of the Tata companies and a Padma Bhushan recipient.
Tata attended multiple schools including the Bishop Cotton School in Shimla and Campion School and finally graduated from Riverdale County School in New York.
